  • What is Performance Marketing?

  • What is an advertiser?

    Are you willing to pay other people helping you to sell your product or service? Then you are an advertiser.Also known as a merchant or retailer, is a Company that sells a product and/or service online, accepts payments and fulfills order

  • What is an Publisher?

    Affiliates are also known as affiliate or resellers. It is an independent party (either an individual or a company) that promotes products and/or services of an advertiser. In exchange they get a commission over leads or sales generated. The publisher displays the advertiser's ads, text links, or product links on their own Web site, in e-mail campaigns, or in search listings, and gets commission by the respective advertiser when a visitor makes a purchase (a sale) or fills in a form (a lead).

  • What is an Affiliate Network?

    An Affiliate Network provides a platform for an advertiser to run the performance programme. It provides the technical infraestructure to allow advertisers to track their programs as well as getting reports and payment mechanism in the same place.

  • What is CPA ?

    It's the abbreviation for Cost Per Action. This is an online advertising model where a rate or commission is set for every action that is taken by a user. This is AffiliRed's model and is the only cost our advertisers will have to consider when running a campaign with us.

  • What is a Cookie?

    A cookie is a small piece of text sent to your browser by a website you visit. It helps the website to remember information about your visit, like your preferred language. Among this, cookies also help us improving our services to our customers, by measuring the performance of their adverstiments campaigns.   • What is a Product Feed?

    Also known as Data Feed. It's a file with all the relevant merchant's information regarding the products or services they sell online. It is also considered the advertiser's Online Product Database. Product Feeds must be provided by advertisers.Publishers may take the information and build infividual or multiple advs to promote you. Using Product Feeds means more exposure both to advertisers and publishers and information provided in the Product Feed will depend on the product or service the site promotes. At least advertisers must provide basic information such as web_URL, Product ID, Hotel Description, Images... Your AffiliRed Account Manager will provide you with specific Travel Product Feeds and assist you if you may have doubts. .CSV or .XML are prefered files to be used.

  • What is Conversion Rate?

    The conversion rate is the percentage of visitors who take the desired action (booking their holidays in the advertisers site). CR is calculated easily: CR = Number of Sales / Visits.

  • What is a Commission Payout?

    A commission payout is an amount of income received by a publisher for each sale redirected to an advertiser's Web site. We recommend to ask AffiliRed's Sales Department if the Commission you are willing to offer is competitive enough to ensure you a good promotion.

  • What is EPC ?

    It's the abbreviation for average Earnings Per 100 Clicks. It is easily calculated by dividing the total amount of commissions generated by the publisher by the total number of clicks, all in the same period. It is commonly used by Publishers and Networks as an an indicator to measure which program is performing better and may generate a better revenue. Many networks rank programs according to their EPC.

  • What is a Tracking Code?

    Is a unique code associated to your site. . Tracking sales or leads is the heart of performance marketing.

  • What are the requirements to become an advertiser?

    AffiliRed is fully dedicated to the Travel Sector. Therefore your site should be related to the industry: air lines, accommodation & hotel chains, rent a car, excursions, themed parks,etc. Since our business model is bases on CPA, a Booking Engine placed in your site is a must. We won't deal with online businesses who only work through forms or Call Centers only. We highly recommend you contact our Sales Departament and fill out our Advertisers Form so we can carefully analyse of your site prior going any further.

  • How long does it take for a program to built up?

    AffiliRed will work hard to promote your program among the networks and to recruit publishers for you. However bare in mind that we can only provide publishers with the tools the advertiser allow us to promote the brand, so at the end of the day, the success of the program is a combination of factors: the commission you pay publishers, the tools you provide them to promote your brand, the management of the program and how open you as an advertisers are to build business relationships with the publishers.
